How to get INFO tag "OREF" in vcf files

Is the OREF always same as REF? How can I get that info if I use GATK to generate snp vcf?

I've never seen or read about OREF, from searching it appears to be iontorrent specific INFO field referred to as O-tags. But I can't find any more info. Can you provide more details on how they're generated?
