pick one sequence per locus

I have a .loci archive with 1953 loci and 24 individuals. I need to extract only one sequence per locus and make a separate archive with that sequences. I've tried "pickseq.pl" script, but it didn't work. Is there another way to do this?

What are you trying to achieve? What/where is the script you tried to use? Has it been written to do what you want or are you trying to repurpose it?

It will be really difficult to understand what you're asking without sample input and possible sample output.
