Hello all friends.,

I am going to do RNA seq (Transcriptomics) for Streptomyces. polyA+ selection or by rRNA depletion methods are used for RNA seq. I am not sure which method is better for bacteria? Do you have any suggestion?

Many thanks

for bacteria RNAseq you must use rRNA depletion methods. In bacteria only a small fraction of mRNA have polyA tail
