Hi all!
My name is Federico Giorgi, I'm a newly appointed Professor of Bioinformatics at the University of Bologna (Italy) and I'm trying to give my little contribution push Bioinformatics upwards and beyond!
The editor MDPI gave us the responsibility to edit the next special Issue of Genes (IF 3.6) with topic "Evolution of Regulatory Gene Networks" and we want to give it a strong direction towards Bioinformatics and Computational Analysis of gene networks, ranging from transcriptional regulation to protein-protein interactions to single-protein-family reviews.
Both editors are bioinformaticians and in our 30s, and we are definitely looking for rigorous but exciting manuscripts. So don't be shy! This post is especially directed towards young, independent scientists with a smart idea in the topic of Gene Networks, also outside the canonical academical boxes.
All details are in the link below. Please circulate it if you have colleagues that may be interested!
