Greetings!!! I have read very good tutorials on how to configure files for circos plot. But I have not seen any tutorial for beginners. I would want to visualize structural variations between two genomes using Circos plot.

How do i 1. Generate a karyotype file showing all the chromosomes in my genome? I have mapped the genomes using bwa mem, my major confusion is how to generate the karyotype file showing the chromosome positions for the two genomes.

Are there tools for doing this?

Thanks
