Hi all, Are there any international journals (preferably indexed in scopus and SCI), for computational biology which provide rapid/faster review and publication process? I have a review prepared on scRNA-seq, which I want to publish and get an early response. Thank you in advance.
The word 'rapid' is a red flag in the World of publishing, and I would encourage you to be cautious in this realm. It seems that you have written an unsolicited review; so, your next step should be to send pre-submission enquiries. However, unless you have an outstanding reputation in the field, most / all of the top tier journals will not accept your review, and they don't need to - they send out invites to well known researchers and invite them to write a review for them. This said, I don't want to discourage you from trying.
If, in the process of trying to publish, the 'editor' and / or 'reviewers' seem overly keen to publish your work, and cannot find any fault with it, then you may very well be in communication with a 'bogus' journal, of which there are thousands. The idea of having your work peer reviewed is to critique it.
You may have luck with some of the BMC journals, as they previously accepted an unsolicited review that I wrote.

I think Kevin provided an excellent point of view, and I will provide a slightly different take. By the way, I agree with everything he said but I will frame it differently.
It is very difficult to publish an unsolicited review, and almost impossible to do so in a reputable journal. This is especially true for authors with little or no reputation in the field. Think about it this way: you are sending an unsolicited review, so why would an editor give it a look if the author has little or no reputation in the field? Now, as Kevin indicated there are journals that will take your paper and consider it, and they may not even be predatory journals. But you need to ask yourself are they worth publishing with if few people will see that paper? That is something each of us has to answer: is it more important to get it published just so the work is memorialized, or is it more important to publish where it will be seen by relevant players in the field? It is that thing about whether the tree has really fallen if nobody has heard it fall.
I get almost daily offers to write articles, including reviews, for journals I have not heard about. I can dig through my spam folder and post several journal links if there is interest. I think these are legitimate journals that have hard time making their monthly quota of articles, and given the right timing would be willing to publish a well-written review by a relative novice.
PS I forgot to add that Kevin's experience about publishing an unsolicited review may not be directly relevant to your situation since he and his co-authors have strong reputation in the field.
Thank you Mr. Dlakic. I agree with every word that Mr. Kevin, You and others have written. I am indebted to all of you. I am quite new in the field, I had to start somewhere, so I started from doing a literature survey. Now, prior to the time I start working on the challenges or the gaps I have seen, I wrote a 'review'. I agree I should have my research seen by the masses, but for that, I will have to start it somewhere. To become reputed you gotta start from scratch. Anyway, I am extremely thankful to you.

Thank you so much Kevin. Your reply is an eye-opener. Yes, it is an unsolicited review. Actually, I had to do a literature survey of scRNA-seq analysis methods. While doing so, I have just found worthy gaps and interesting research areas in single-cell genomics. So, I just wrote down an informative review. Now, I just wanted it to get published, in some good journal (Not necessarily top-tiered, but a good one). I am not reputed in the field yet, but I just don't want my observation to go in vain.
why not bioRxiv first? :)
I am not sure that bioRxiv accept reviews.
You will eventually find somewhere that will happily accept it and put it under 'proper' peer review. Just do not 'give in' ('give up', or, 'throw in the towel') to any 'predatory' publisher for the mere sake of getting it published rapidly. I was waiting 1.5 years for my unsolicited review (from first submission). Try one of the BMC journals.

Did you check f1000research? They are really fast, however, i am not sure whether or not they accept review and their impact factor is around 1.
oh I did not know. for me it does not makes sense, but OK, its their policy, who am I to judge.
