Please take a few mins to read through this : [[ Please read before posting a question ::: How To Ask A Good Question ]]

I assume HMP = Human Metagenome Project? Have you checked the portal associated with this project? You can take a look at the available data here.

there the samples of female is given only. I am searching for fasta or fastq files of bacteria genome references asap . I have searched the link given in the paper (ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/Bacteria/). But after clicking it is showing

The webpage at ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/Bacteria/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

If you are just looking to get genome sequences then you can use the ncbi-genome-download tool from Kai Blin.

You can find NCBI Bacterial genomes here: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/genbank/bacteria/
RefSeq genomes are at: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/refseq/bacteria/
