How to perform the correlation analysis between gene counts (generated from RNA-Seq) and plant physiological data?

Hello everyone,

I have performed the physiological analysis in plants and, I have calculated the leaf temperature and stomatal conductance and at the same time I have performed the RNA-Seq of same plant at same time.

Now, I want to compare how the physiological data and transcriptome data, that how they are related with each other.

How to perform the correlation analysis between gene counts (generated from RNA-Seq) and plant physiological data?

Does anyone know, how to perform this correlation analysis?

I have three sample 1) Control 2) Drought 3) Heat Do you have any specific suggestion on this?
