How to find corresponding dbSNP IDs (if exist, of course) for Y chromosome mutations summarized, for example, by The Y Chromosome Consortium here? (Or do you know a better list of mutations?) They can be used for haplogroups determination.

I found a table in supplemental data of a recent article:

Y-chromosome haplogroup diversity in the sub-Himalayan Terai and Duars populations of East India.

Is there a more complete/up-to-date table? Any database with such mapping?

Hi Yuri,

Just check this page. http://www.isogg.org/tree/ISOGG_YDNA_SNP_Index.html It'ś a curated site from the International Society for Genetic Genealogy, and in that link you can find a table with the name of the SNP, it's Haplogroup, some other names, the RefSNP-ID (what I figure you are looking for) and in case there's not rs# (sometimes there isn't because of a lack of human work...), you have the Y-position for different assemblies, so you can find the sequences adscribed, and the base substitution.

I encourage you to give a look to the whole web site, if you're involved inworking with Y-Chrom markers. It's a site full of resources.

Hope it could help.

Cheers,
