uploading the files to the cloud

I am trying to upload some file on BaseSpace cloud using this command:

/usr/local/bin/bs upload dataset -p 154258118 myfile.fastq.gz

but I am getting this error:

ERROR: *** Invalid filename: myfile.fastq.gz ***

do you know how to fix the problem?

The error suggests that there's no file called "myfile.fastq.gz" in your current working directory.

You have to follow Illumina fastq file naming conventions, so your file should be named something like myfile_S1_L001_R1_001.fastq.gz.
