I have a complete genome from a bacterium. I would like to perform functional annotation of this entire genome (something similar to gene ontology) for free. What softwares could I use to make it? Do you have any suggestion?

I would like to have graphs (like pie chart) with function of these genes.

One option would be to try Prokka: https://github.com/tseemann/prokka

Hi

You could try MyPro https://sourceforge.net/projects/sb2nhri/files/MyPro/

You only have to put in the fastq file and it gives you everything starting from processing, assembly, annotation. It gives you outputs after combining results of atleast 4 tools.
