Hello, I have been trying to learn more about computational biology and now I am trying to learn, GWAS where I need to correlate SNP of two different diseases for finding correlation between the diseases. While studying through the published data I learnt that for this I either require genotyped data or I can also use a stimulated data, and while searching so I came across CliVar.

Being new to bioinformatics, I have very limited knowledge about making a stimulated data. So, can anyone help me understanding this.? A good published article or any information will help me alot.

Thanks in advance, VISHAL

I think you mean simulated data ? I think you need to search for a few more review articles and practical analysis examples for GWAS, LD, etc. There are some very good tutorials. Maybe try the Tutorials link on the biostars header bar, and or Galaxy tutorials Google galaxy training network which are very nice.
