When we look at specific mutation in gnoMAD how can i figure out ways to predict essential and non essential gene estimation based on given information provided?Kindly let me know.
what do you mean by "essential and non essential gene estimation" ? Please rephrase your question to provide more information.
Essential i mean if the critical genes involvement can be predicted over other genes(calling non essential) in different mutation.
Who determines if a gene is "essential" or not? What is the context in which their being "essential" is determined?
Determination depends on how lethal the genes are, like in gnoMAD that have several genes reported in database (~20,000). If there is a way find from it?
Genes are never lethal. If expressing a gene killed the organism, evolution would select against that gene. I think you're referring to the comments you received on your previous question, where a metric measuring how tolerant a gene is to protein truncating variants is used as a measure of how "critical" the gene is to the organism's survival. Is that correct?
