Hi everyone!
I'm a student in Bioinformatics and I've to choose a trimming tool for my NGS data from Ion AmpliSeq panel sequenced with Ion PGM. Which is the best trimming tool for this type of reads (single-end) and 125 bp-175 bp of length?
Do you think it is better a static or a dynamic trim?
It is possible to decide the tool without knowing the sequencing quality? (because that's what I have to do...)

I think with Ion the instrument does all the needed QC..
Yes,it's true! But I've to choose another trimming tool...It seems that all tools do the same things!
