We have organized a Wechat group for discussing Bioinformatics for around one year, and now we decide to make it public and plan to organize a series of webinars for topics related to Bioinformatics, including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, sequence analysis, single-cell data analysis, and algorithms.
Currently, most of the members in the Wechat group are Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidates from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and other universities in China. We have various backgrounds and research interests, including stem cell biology, epigenetics, algorithm design, gene editing, genetics, and single-cell omics. Besides, most of the chats in the group are in Chinese, but we also have members who don't speak Chinese, so communication in English is welcome!
