Hi !

I'm not very good at statistics so I want to ask some questions.

I work with metabarcoding 16S dataset

I have generate OTU table from mothur, and I want to know if the differences between samples are more due to one factor (sample site) or from one another (sample hote species)

I have calculate bray-curtis distance between samples, and I have also another data.frame that ties my samples to the factors, like this:

sample site specie
AA01 A A
AA02 A B
AA03 B A
AA04 B B

My first question is, is ANOSIM a good statistical test to determine the coorelation between the bray-curtis distances and my qualitative variables ?

If yes, how to perform a two-ways ANOSIM in R ? I have use anosim() function from vegan package but it seem's that it work only with one facteur

Thank's very much by advance
