Hi,

I have a series of genes with relative expression values. The next step will be apply Kruskal-Wallis test. First i have to group the values according to growth conditions, so my question is: how can i distinguish wich one is under one condition rather than another? my pipeline is completely automatized, there's a unique attribute wich indicate if the sample is control/treated?

thanks for the attention

Can you provide an example of the data or a link to the source on NCBI?

What SRA accession are you analyzing? In general SRA submissions allows adding metadata that you can get by the REST API

That having said, there is no standardized way to feed in specific information such as growth information, so you most likely need to scan the metadata manually.
