Rancho BioSciences is looking for one or more Senior Bioinformatics Scientists to work full time. Work from home in any U.S. time zone. Applicant should have at least 5 years of bioinformatics experience, but 10 or more years is preferred. Skills should include next-generation sequencing analysis (such as RNA-seq, exome sequencing, variant detection, ChIP-seq, or methyl-seq), familiarity with common statistical methods, and programming in R and one or more general-purpose languages (Python, Perl, C/C++, Java). Applicant should be able to write proposals, planning out analysis steps and budgets for own work and for other analysts. Rancho BioScience has headquarters in San Diego, CA. Many employees live in Boston, MA. I am in Memphis, TN, and others are in Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, etc.

Could you please add employee benefits relevant for this position?

Benefits include paid holidays, paid vacation days, employee contributions to a 401K, and health insurance. There are probably other benefits available but these are the most important ones to me.
