Hi all,

For my particular needs, I need an editor that can very easily switch between nucleotide and translation, as well as be flexible in terms of adding large indels... and also not so ram intensive..

If youre a Se-Al user, then you would know what I mean when I say there isnt anything thats quite like it (despite all its bugs :) )

the reason is that Se-Al won't support OSX Lion or above :(

Cheers!

I would say Geneious from BioMatters would work for you. Don't know if the free version has all the features you need, but no harm in trying.
