Alternative for phylosim in R

Hey everyone, I want to simulate nucleotide substitution in R and I found this package but it is no longer on CRAN and it is discontinued.

This is because it depends on another package removed from CRAN. You could asked the authors to replace the dependency (there may be an alternative package).

EDIT: Looking at the GitHub repo shows that the dependency has already been removed. Not sure then why CRAN is reporting this dependency. I still suggest you contact the authors about this.

Try this :
