Structural variations intersection

I intersect the structural variations of the vcf-files using Survivor. However, I don't know what principle the intersection is based on. I understand all the settings of the program, but I cannot find any reasonable confirmation in the articles that exactly is considered an intersection. Is there a gold standard for crossing? What percentage of overlap should structural variations have?

Can you post your command? In Survivor merge there is a distance param, based on which two SVs could be counted as one.
