Please help with the famous 00LOCK error in r

Hello, So, i am trying to update a package and I get the following error:

In file.copy(savedcopy, lib, recursive = TRUE) :
  problem copying C:/Users/USER/Documents/R/win-library/4.0/00LOCK/rlang/libs/x64/rlang.dll to C:/Users/USER/Documents/R/win-library/4.0/rlang/libs/x64/rlang.dll: Permission denied

Now the thing is I know I need to delete 00LOCK folder, but the problem is there is no such folder in the specified path. What do I do?

Permission denied

This looks rather like a permission problem in the windows filesystem.

a quick workaround I found was to delete everything in 4.0 folder and install it again. But any other answers are also most welcome.

I have encountered the same problem. But deleting everything would have me face difficulty in reinstalling all those packages. Is there any other approach to solve this problem?
