Hello all. I am about to start the final dissertation for my master's degree. For this, I am going to perform text mining on paper abstracts collected from PubMed, using the language R.

I wondered if you could point me to some useful R packages. The ones I am aware currently are easyPubmed for downloading the abstracts by keywords and date; pubmed.mineR for many text mining algorithms; and lsa for performing latent semantic analysis.

Do you know any other packages that I should be exploring?

There's also RISmed. It can be used for all NCBI databases as it uses the eutils interface but seems particularly targeted at PubMed.

Thank you. I wasn't aware of this package.
