Hey,

I'm searching for database that has information on cells, particularly about aliases, organs it is found in, species, etc. Something VERYYYY similar to GeneCards database. For example: https://www.genecards.org/cgi-bin/carddisp.pl?gene=UPK2&keywords=UPK2

This will help tremendously with my research.

Not clear if you are simply looking for a physiological database of organs/cell types but you can take a look at Cellmarker (LINK).

You can also take a look at Allen Brain Atlas database (LINK). There are databases of single cell expression signature like Pangalo (LINK)

You can also try a meta-database that includes those: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/clustermole/vignettes/clustermole-intro.html

Hello, thank you for the SC databases, however I'm already using these currently and they aren't exactly what I'm looking for. After doing some search on my own, I found these:

I haven't fully vetted them but they are essentially what I am looking for: ontologies (or encyclopedias) about a cell type that I am interested in.
