I search for MAOA SNPs at braiseq eQTL Set dlpfc and get some result. But when I search some SNPs for example rs6610898 is dbSNP NCBI it shows that this SNP is in EFHC2 gene. What the matter?

It is definitely in EFHC2 gene:

$ esearch -db snp -query "rs6610898" | esummary | xtract -pattern DocumentSummary -element SNP_ID,NAME,CHRPOS
6610898 EFHC2 X:44174380
6610898 EFHC2 X:44174380

Could you also specify the query to Brainseq? Unless I'm missing something - quering for MAOA gene symbol on their eQTL browser returns for example rs112140375 but not rs6610898.

I don't know what exactly you are referring to. Please provide site links if you can.

Hi GenoMax, I was referring to the original question by philosophical.raptor111 - the link to eQTL browser. I.e. when specifying MAOA as Gene Symbol the result set does not contain rs6610898 - I am trying to understand where it came from.

I use phase 2 eQTL. I mark DLPFC and search gene symbol MAOA
