Hi, I detected Circular RNA through RNA-seq via CIRI2 as a Circular RNA identifier tool.

E.g., for one sample, I got the below result:

 circRNA_ID chr circRNA_start circRNA_end #junction_reads SM_MS_SMS #non_junction_reads junction_reads_ratio circRNA_type gene_id strand junction_reads_ID

chr20:30954187|30956926 chr20 30954187 30956926 3 1_3_0 4 0.600 intergenic_region n/a + SRR1427487.35782013.1

Now, I need to understand annotation Circular RNA. How can I annotate Circular RNA?

I appreciated if you share your comment with me.

try using CIRIquant, you can provide the outputs from CIRI2.

Looks like a ciRNA with no parent gene though from your output..

Thank you for your comment. I have a question about your second sentence. do you mean my circular RNA record belongs to a region that its gene name has not been annotated?

I appreciated if you share your comment with me.

Best Regards,

No no no.. sorry I phrased that poorly. It is from an intergenic region!
