How To Get Swissprot Release 49?

Hey,

I found such a text:

2.1 Training dataset

The training dataset contains data from ePSORTdb 2.0 (Rey et al., 2005b), which was used to build PSORTb 2.0, Swiss-Prot version 49 (Wu et al., 2006), plus protein localization data obtained from manual literature search (the latter comprises 30% of the dataset).

If you take a look at the release history, the last release was 44. http://www.uniprot.org/news/release-notes

I have to found the date when this "magick" release was created to get all proteins after that date. I do analysis and I don't want to have unique proteins (it means the entries that are created after release 49.

Do you know how to get such date? Date of release 49?

Using the search function in the news section of uniprot.org you can also find it. which gives http://www.uniprot.org/news/2006/02/07/release as the url for the release note.

To find swiss-prot entries added since then use the query builder to select reviewed:true and date-integrated put 2006-02-07 in the from field and CURRENT in to to field. Which will give as query 2006-02-07

http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/?query=reviewed:yes+AND+created:[20060207+TO+current]&sort=score

Which are the newly added entries since the 7th of february 2006.

It does not tell you which entries were deleted since that day.
