Are There Any Tools/Scripts Available To Process Samplesheets?

I am looking for any basic tools/scripts available to processing samplesheets from various sequening (Illumina) runs and database it to keep track of sample names, lane information, Projects they belong etc etc?

I am NOT looking for LIMS tools

The Illumina sample sheets are fairly simple but also very loose in their specifications.

The good news is that it is fairly simple to write scripts that operate on the file, but also that it is unlikely to have generic tools that could properly process every sheet.

You best option is to either write your own scripts or post requests for specific needs that you to have.

Thanks @Istvan, I have a script which converts samplesheet csv file to import to mysql db. But was wondering if any tool already available and how our community deals with plenty of samplesheets.
