Position Summary
The Su Lab (http://sulab.org) is a bioinformatics research group that operates at the interface between biology, computer science, machine learning, and software engineering. Our projects span a wide spectrum of disease areas (including osteoarthritis, cancer, cystic fibrosis), organisms (human, mouse, microbiomes) and technology platforms (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics).
We are currently recruiting for a Web Programmer to work on developing online biomedical tools. Our group is involved in several applications that are collectively accessed millions of times per month by researchers worldwide. Initially, this position will focus on BioGPS (http://biogps.org), a gene portal for aggregating and integrating online knowledge of gene function.

Basic Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior web development experience in open-source, freelance, commercial or advanced academic projects.
