Hi all,

I am working on microarray analysis and I came across two R packages, limma and Bridge to find differential gene expression. Can some one tell the difference between limma and bridge?

Thanks in advance

bridge is totally based on bayesian inference, while LIMMA not really (although it uses empirical bayes for error smoothing). One consequence is that bridge might be more robust but requires several hours to analyze small samples, and cannot accomodate complex design as LIMMA does. LIMMA is more frequently used.
