Rna Regulation Of Gene Transcription Database

Hello All,

I would like to know whether somebody knows about a database gathering information about gene transcriptional regulation through RNAs. For instance, some long non-coding RNAs regulate the transcription of genes (activation or silencing), the same can occur using small non-coding RNAs like microRNAs. I am not aware of such a parsable resource and would be very thankful to get some pointers.

Best.

Don't know about "parsable" but I know of at least two useful resources for lnc/linc RNAs:

EDIT: Here's another which includes targets; there's an IP address in the URL so cannot vouch for its stability - LncRNADisease.

Thank you for the links. Unfortunately, they provide data about lncRNA locations but not there potential targets for transcription silencing or activation.

Maybe this resource does not exist so far.

See my edit for a third resource with target information.

You can check data in ChIPBase
or starBase

I did not know about starBase, it looks interesting. Thank you very much.

you can try starBase. starBase provides various RNA-RNA and protien-RNA regulatory interactions, including miRNA-lncRNA, miRNA-mRNA, miRNA-circRNA, miRNA-pseudogene, miRNA-sncRNA, protein-RNA interactions and ceRNA networks.
