How to undo an action? (for example, to recover a deleted post)

To elaborate on what Sukhdeep Singh said there are some actions that a user can take that are not reversible by them. Post closing and post deletions by authors are such actions.

This is because right now the information on who closed the post only generates a message (for tracking purposes) but does not get stored in a way that would allow us to distinguish between posts closed by an editor (moderator) and those closed by the author.

To undo an accidental closing/deletion send a private message to a recently logged in editor/administrator (see the Recent tab for ongoing activity).
