I am new to bioinformatics and I have a long drive to work.
What are some good audio resources for bioinformatics? For example:
- full length audiobooks that can be downloaded
- full length audiobooks available on CDs
- professionally recorded sets of seminars/lectures (>4 hours total)
- bioinformatics podcasts that focus on learning topics in depth (NO How are you? How was that conference? chatter, and few/no guest interviews)
I'm not sure you are going to find much that meets your stated requirements. There are several pop science audiobooks on genomics available from Audible/Amazon, but bioinformatics proper is pretty math and algorithm driven. Math and algorithms don't come across well in an audio only format so no one bothers to produce them. There are some videos of relevant lectures floating around the web. Would those do?
