My reaction: only six out of ten were wrong? ... that's great! that means this person has four good papers, for papers that stood the test of time. That's reason to cheer not to complain.
This author seems to think there is some greater justice that is exacted on disproven scientists by an omniscient review committee. The chance you would encounter someone in a job interview who knows what is not reproducible, and would hold it against you, is very small. Having more papers is generally better as long as they are not redundant.
