Rosalind is a new educational resource for learning bioinformatics through problem solving and programming. Rosalind allows its users to learn bioinformatics concepts through a problem tree that builds up biological, algorithmic, and programming knowledge concurrently.
Rosalind is also designed to help bioinformatics professors manage the programming assignments in their classes via its software system for automated homework testing. The Rosalind site has already subscribed over 500 active users and counting during beta testing, who are helping to improve the project in advance of its alpha release.
Is this only for python training or we can use Perl to solve these problems?
We only take your answers to problems, not your code, so Rosalind can be used with any programming language.
I can't get to this right now. Is it still supposed to be there? I'm getting a 500 error.
I'm having enormous fun solving these problems, thanks for creating Project Rosalind!
