I was visualizing phylogenetic tree using seaview. Recently I realized that the tree rendering is inaccurate and differs from MEGA, ete2 and ITOL. Let me know if you have similar experience with seaview. Thanks.

Seaview can generate trees using Parsimony, Distance methods (NJ or BioNJ), and ML (using PhyML). Different inference methods may yield different trees, so it is important to first make sure you are comparing trees generated with the same methods. Also, these programs may have slightly different ways of rendering the trees and if you rotate the branches extending from certain nodes you may see that the trees really are the same.
