Is There Any Freeware To Analyze Electrophoresis Gels?

Hi Everyone,

Does anybody know if there is a freeware or GNU public software to analyze electrophoresis gels, and even better if it is for mac. But suggestion for PC will be appreciated.

I think that ImageJ (Free Java Software, dedicated to biolabs) is able to perform what you are looking for.

I've used ImageJ for a variety of analysis (from particles to gels) and I (too) strongly recomend you try it out.

Also you could try PyElph for windows; the newer version also supports x64 systems.
