How To Convert Text Files To Haploview Ped-Info Files?

I have been trying to use the Haploview software. The input files need to be in two formats- ped and info. Could you please let me know, how I convert the excel/text file to these formats?

Haploview formats are described here. Briefly, you need to (a) not use Excel and (b) use shell tools or a script to parse and rewrite your text files. But without seeing your input data, we can't help any further.
