Dear I have a problem regarding UniProt Id mapping,

I have 1541 ensemble gene ids of Human I mapped it for UniProt accession IDs but after mapping I have got 5015 UniProt ids. That is crating some confusion in my mind. My problemHow could I select unique ids from mapped UniProt ids? I tried to do same from BioMart but this also provide redundant ids. My objective is that, to download protein sequences for all Tfs of Human,

Is there any other way out to download all the TFs protein sequences for Human,

waiting for your valuable comments.

thank you

Gene IDs and PROTEIN IDs are different. Generally, a GENE ID can be mapped to many PROTEIN IDs due to alternative splicing.
See the review: One Gene, Many Proteins for detail.
Thus, you may firstly filter corresponding ENSEMBL PROTEIN IDs.

UniProt contains reviewed (Swiss-Prot) as well as unreviewed (TrEMBL) records. I searched for ensg00000146648 and I found four results - one reviewed and other unreviewed. So to filter the right results you can use the 'Status' filed of UniProt.
