Looking for a Perl script to extract fileheaders from Affy CEL file.

I've found Bioconductor's "Affymetrix File Parsing SDK" -- but trying to avoid installing yet another system into my pipeline.

I would be interested to know what your pipeline is about if you deal with Affy Cel files and prefer Perl over Bioconductor.

you can have a look on celutil command. you can use it with the command system with perl, and then parse the result.
