I just learned about this upcoming Software Carpentry training workshop in the Boston area in June. It's a bargain for 2 days of training, and I've heard great things about these workshops. Hat tip Titus Brown for the tweet that I saw.

I am with you... with the inconvenient that even the date has long ago passed. I wonder if such a bootcamp (taking into account that we are not women) could be held in Barcelona. Whom could put in the required funding so it could be held? I really would enjoy having the chance to learn some stuff in this field... (and this would be a great way)
Yes, I have seen the tweets about these coming from all over the world K. Contact the Software-Carpentry team and they will certainly try to work on getting one for you. It was really a terrific event.
Definitely that's what I'll do. Let's see if there's luck for us in Barcelona... Cheers from the other side of the Atlantic. ;)
