Just have a quick question here, Is IGV software the only available software to open BAM file?

What do you mean by open? There are lots of ways to access and manipulate bam files. Samtools is one of the most popular, but there are also many language-specific libraries (for example RSamtools). Which approach is right for you largely depends on what you want to accomplish. Without that information, we're just guessing.

• BamView
• GenoViewer
