Uncharacterized Protein-Ligand & Pathway Prediction

Hi all, I am working on uncharacterized protein prediction. I have some knowledge to determine function and structure prediction of a protein.Do you know method to identify ligands and metabolic pathway prediction?. I hope we can identify through enzyme commission prediction. Any thoughts?

Simplest thing to do is to blast/psi-blast it and see if there is any significant match with a protein of known function. However you need experimental validation to confirm any of your findings.

Thanks. But I need to find related ligands to my protein sequence and in which pathway it take part (pathway mapping)?
