Dear all,

For the purpose of detecting transcriptional start sites (TSS) in bacteria, is there any special requirement for the library construction?

I have a list of data from strand specific RNA-seq (sorry, I am not quite familiar with the protocol now), are they suitable for TSS analysis?

In order to analyze the transcriptional start site what kinds of tools are available now?

Thanks!

You should select for 5'ppp by degrading 5'p and 5'OH ends that are cleavage products.
