Hello guys,

I am working on a single cell ATAC. I am wondering to know, is it possible to find small/rare population in single cell ATAC-Seq era which are not found in bulk ATAC-Seq ?

I mean for sure the idea of single cell helps to find out the heterogeneity but has impact on depth and input cells.

Also, can we use deconvolution methods on ATAC as well?

Thanks.

Yes this is possible. There's now likely hundreds of research papers that use single cell ATAC seq to do exactly this task, if you read maybe 5, you will begin to get an idea of what methods they use and what kind of results are possible.
