Hi, I'm trying to install MATLAB Run-Time Component Libraries downloaded from the quantisnp website (https://sites.google.com/site/quantisnp/downloads) on ubuntu 18.04. The installation did not go through, with this message popping up " No Java Runtime Environment (JRE) was found on this system" after it was trying to extract bundled JRE. I'm not sure what went wrong, could anyone please help me out with this? Thank you in advance.
This is not surprising since you are trying to download and install software that was current in 2010. It may be best to find something else to do what you want/need to do.
