Hi,

Thanks in advance for reading.

I have duplicate RNAseq data of mouse from various tissue across 4 different time (let say: Dawn, Morning, Afternoon, Night).

What is the best method/graphical representation/plot to see gene expression differences across time? My objective is to see whether there is 'oscillation' type of expression in my list gene of interest (12 genes).

I used heatmap before on normalised log2 count and Z-score it but it not exactly appealing.

There are differences in gene expression for some of my gene of interest between these 4 different times though (from lookin at the heatmap).

You can try representing the expression in line plot/boxplot/violone plot.
