Download and install StringTie

I have SOURCE PACKAGE:

1. Downloaded StringTie source package http://ccb.jhu.edu/software/stringtie/dl/stringtie-2.1.5.tar.gz
2. tar zxvf stringtie-2.1.5.tar.gz
3. cd stringtie-2.1.5
4. make release

Alternatively I also tried with BINARY PACKAGE

BINARY PACKAGE: I have also tried with the Binary package. When i execute './stringtie' it does show me everything about StringTie.

Using either of the ways and the trying to run StringTie commands on my .Bam files. my terminal reports 'stringtie: command not found'

Isn't my stringtie installed? am I missing something in between?

Classic $PATH problem. Add directory containing stringtie to your $PATH using the directions here.
