Hello, I'd like to know how can I find from which protein this peptides seq is taking from:

  1. GFALYFLGECNNSLCIFTPP
  2. GKEAFCLSHQEVATANLAWA
  3. QVLEIIRKAIIATDLALYFG

I thought to run these 3 lines at the same query and find the protein with the smallest e-value.

what do you think?

For such small length, I would also look at the alignment itself, not only the e-val. Also, remember that e-value calculation/interpretation depends on the software doing it.

You probably know this, but I will say it just in case: it is much faster to do what you are proposing that to wait for someone here to agree with you or offer an alternative solution. I pasted your sequences before I started typing this and the result was already available on the BLAST page by the time I finished.
