Hello Biostars, I have a question regarding JContextExplorer software. I checked some tutorials on YT (last video updated 7 years ago), but I wasn't able to find what I wanted. Also, the link provided for the manual doesn't work, so I decided to make this post.

I am looking to add multiple, very divergent genes to the same plot. For example, let's say I have 3 genomes /40 core genes/ about 500,000bp each.

Does anybody know how if it is possible to visualize core gene#15, gene#16, gene#17, gene#18, gene#28, gene#29, genes#30, genes#31 having 3 genomes in the final plot? I used the Add or Remove context set menuGroup multiple independent queries together menu.

However, in the output plot, the 3 genomes are renamed to genome segment 1 & genome segement2 for all of 3 genomes and at the end, I got 6 genomes and not 3 as I want. It seems it separates gene#15, gene#16, gene#17, gene#18 as segment 1 and gene#28, gene#29, gene#30, gene#31 as segment 2.

Thanks in advance.
